Pigeon racing connects people all over the world. Our colleagues Petra Puffer, Lara Gringel, and Frederik Wolf experienced this once again on their trip to China. Alongside numerous personal conversations with breeders and business partners, the program included a Röhnfried lecture event in Tianjin and a visit to one of the region's professional One Loft Race facilities.
At a lecture event in Tianjin, Frederik introduced Röhnfried and various products from our range to the attending pigeon breeders. Participants were able to view the products on site, ask questions about their use, and exchange ideas about caring for their pigeons.
For Frederik, it was in a sense a Chinese edition of 'Frag Röhnfried Live,' except this time not in front of the camera but directly before an audience.
Besides the product presentation, the event also offered an opportunity to learn more about feeding practices and the needs of breeders in China.

Another item on the program was a visit to the Changjiang One Loft in Tianjin. The facility is part of the Chinese One Loft Racing scene and gave our colleagues insight into the structures of a professionally run pigeon loft.
The scale of the facility and its organization were particularly striking. The visit showed how much organizational effort goes into running a large One Loft.
China has an extensive One Loft Racing scene with numerous established organizers. Competitions with several thousand registered pigeons illustrate the scale that the sport has reached there.
One Loft Races also play an important role for members of our Röhnfried Racing Team. Various team members take part in international competitions and regularly achieve top placings.
A current example is SG Ullrich, which, together with The Painters, celebrated several successes at the Afrika Pro 2026. The team won the Black Jacket in the overall ranking over ten races, as well as the title 'Fancier of the Final Race.' In the final, the pigeon 'Lucky Cheetah' also finished third.

With the lecture event, the visit to the Changjiang One Loft, and numerous conversations with breeders and business partners, the trip offered a diverse insight into pigeon racing in China.
